I have beat this amp to death for a very long time, I think I'm coming up on 30 years with it now. It got gigged hard in my younger days, then sat in storage for about 15 years, and I've now resurrected it for hard service again. I popped the 4 amp fuse the other day, and can't seem to find one locally. Does anyone know what would happen if I use a 5 amp fuse instead?

You could fry something more important like a transformer. Since it’s been sitting unused for 15 years, my bet is a tube or capacitor or something may be amiss. I’d seriously have a tech go over it before something more vital than a fuse goes out
