You shouldn’t leave bud. I’m of Palestinian and Lebanese origins, and I’ve read many shitty things and had even dealt with hostility IRL, once one finds out where I descend from lol. I have a rather ambiguous look and most people aren’t discerning enough to pinpoint where I’m from and honestly I see that as a blessing lol, because it means I’m far less likely to be put in a position to even discuss the political situation of that region. This is a topic that isn’t worth getting heavily invested in and upset about. It’s a lost cause.

There are people who have nothing to do with that region who are 1000x more invested in the conflict than me. Whatever happens, happens. It is what it is. The way I see it, I have far more important immediate issues to concern myself with than the political situation of a foreign nation and what have you. This world sucks ass and lots of bad things are coming our way, which means it’s probably the time to get good with God. I know I do for sure.

Every Jewish person I have interacted with in person was always a positive experience. Even when they knew I was Palestinian on my dad's side.

My best friend in high school was Ashkenazi Jewish. We would smoke weed during lunch, then go to art class stoned as all hell. We would mess with each other by yelling across the class "give me back my land!" while laughing our asses off. Neither of us was willing to sacrifice our friendship over that shitty conflict.

It's complicated. The Talmud is a large book of rabbinical opinions. Some of the them are very good, but many of them are very evil. It is a book(s) that condemns Christ in a very blasphemous way. It also doesn't cast gentiles in a very good light. But truthfully, when I looked at what is involved with a person converting to judaism, your average conservative synagogue will want you to sign a statement actually confirming you reject Christ as messiah.

It's an anti-Christ religion and full of hypocritical, backwards, high fences built around a law. For example, the ultra orthodox types, have been reduced to tearing toilet paper before Shabbat so they don't wipe their butt and violate the prohibition against "work" by tearing the perforated sheets. Much of it is actual insanity. I could go further, that's just one example. They seemingly revere the Talmud more than the actual Torah.

I think that was the gist I got from what I have read and seen. The Talmud seems to have taken precedence over the Torah.
