I met him once when he was doing a thing at a music store around here, and he seemed like a cool dude (none of the "I'm better than you" attitude). I like his solo stuff, and he ripped when we saw Rob Zombie with Slayer.

I agree the first part is a little wheedly deedly.... it gets better as it goes.

Even a guy as good as Guthrie Govan isn't as inventive as John 5, IMO.
