Nada. I trained as a general surgeon so colon removal, thyroid, gallbladder, pancreas; then afterward I stayed on for a fellowship in vascular surgery as well. So as I’ve become older I’ve stuck mainly to blood vessels as that excites me. (aneurysm, carotid, stents etc). The trauma surgery life in Memphis made me very salty as a human. I escaped after residencies to a smaller town between Memphis and Nashville. Much more serine like the Hobbit’s shire.
I have, however, dabbled in the local Jimmy John’s. 😏

To be fair. I don’t blame him. He just wanted to get it straight to the catcher. Not like these other maniacs that threw it way off to the sides. He has successfully avoided making the real blooper real. Everyone will quickly forget the safe girly throw by next week.

I have a good arm and played baseball in my youth. Sounds ridiculous but I still always win the throwing things at carnivals and stuff like that. Hadn’t thrown a ball on the field, in front of other players, for a very long time. Put my son into Little League. Just throwing with the kids made me nervous because the coaches were watching lol. Pressure can be a mother f’er.
 
That said, you know you are throwing first pitch, spend a few weeks or months throwing a ball. It must be like the guys that think they can fight in their imaginations. Then they get in a real one and they get a dose of reality. Can’t even throw a basic punch. Everyone probably thinks it’s easy to throw to base.
