John Norum ON FIRE! (Eruption content)

Anyone else noticed he is actually pickin in the same way as Eddie!

Man, even his hair kinda looks like EVH lol!
 
Ralph, Kage and I have all been saying this for years.. Norum is like a chameleon. He seems to really get heavily influenced by certain players and ends up playing/sounding like them. It's amazing how he does it too, because he doesn't just play in their style.. He NAILS their style flawlessly. He's been through various phases of sounding like Yngwie, Schenker, Moore, EVH, Marino, Wylde etc.

Absolutely!

I think he sounded a lot like Gary Moore when he was really young. Then in Europe and maybe "Total Control" there is a lot of Yngwie. "Face the truth" has some Sykes moments (and the cover of the album lol). "Another Destination" is definitely EVH and after that i think there is a lot of Schenker and of course, a lot of wah.
