An unnamed member the other day asked if it was cool he send me some stuff he's cleaning out his music room closet. Same member had offered to buy me some expensive guitar parts a couple months ago but I just couldn't accept that kinda generosity. Since this wasn't so (seemingly) high priced so I said sure.

The box arrived today and it's got about $250 worth of pig-hog and rattlesnake guitar, speaker, and patch cables, a truetone one spot, a half dozen tubes, multiple expensive guitar straps, a couple different homebrewed pedals, and a bunch of other various guitar related stuff on top of it. Thank you, kind rig-talker! You guys here amaze me sometimes....

You are a good dude. You have prayed for a lot of folks and kept your cool even after some have been rude to you.

Thanks but truth is I'm a jerk that somehow is (usually) good about remembering others in prayer. I don't have money and I'm kind of a selfish prick with my time so prayer is what I have to give. I have only sometimes kept my cool with jerks but I guess that is better than the past when my first move was to return every verbal favor 10x over. At one time it was a self defense mechanism then it just became a bad habit that has been hard to break.

None of us are perfect, but i admire those that admit it and at least continue to try to do good things. 👍🏻💪🏻
 
Yet again a member who can decide to identify themselves or not decided to humble me in a huge way totally unexpectedly today. I can't believe this. I was thinking no one was paying attention to some stuff I was trying to be steadfast in and in the meantime I dropped the ball on said stuff, yet the gift mentioned it specifically. Man I'm an idiot! It's an unreal gift. Someone is cutting some dang onions in here today....:cry::cry::cry:

You are echoing Jose's thoughts. The Gladio has been great with a cranked amp but the blue fez might knock the blue note out of the running for lower volume stuff if it has a lot of gain on tap. That'd be kinda nice too.

Wayne built the VBF deluxe which was a Gladio clone i.e two sides of OD but I found myself using the blue side with a cranked amp mostly so really one OD box gets it done for me.
