Sorry Man, I thought that Sucked Donkey Balls!!
I usually like Good Tone and Talent in Guitar
playing and music.

lol gotta agree .If that was not posted as a joke thread ..wow..thats horrible

I dig them. They rock in a very RAW kind of way.

I will admit that that video sounds like ass though. That mic had no chance in hell of capturing their sound.

Kinda like the White Stripes but worse

Nah, in all seriousness, I took a look at a couple of their vids, and hey, they got something going on - good for them. They're at least out there kicking out the jams more than us armchair critics

First time I heard Jucifer was maybe 2004? I instantly thought it was some cool ass shit. They tour, live in an RV, record and tour and tear the fucking house down in a raw and brutal way. Plus she does have one hell of a rig. I'd like to see a rig rundown video. :D

HA Yeah, I think I started seeing them around 99 Her rig was even more eclectic back in the day, Sounds like sunshine. There was even cabinets with like oval shaped (looks like car stereo) speakers.. and almost nothing repeated -- the new rig with some "other" things but loaded with 8x10 and 4x12 is still wicked but it was an art to see this mountain of seemingly random amps have the loudest sweetest purr-- I found a pic of the newer version haha

From an interview;

TO: How do you manage to recreate your studio sound live?

AV: We don’t try. An album and a show are two very different mediums, both for expression and for the experience of the audience. An album is a more individual and contemplative situation. A quieter, intimate thing. The show is a visceral, physical, violently sensual group experience. We feel that- at least for our band- trying to simulate a record precisely live, or vice versa, would be unnatural…and would negate some of the beauty of those two different experiences.

I like Jucifer, but that band in no way has a good tone. It's loud amps plugged into too many speakers with complete disregard for tone in exchange for volume, which is the whole gimmick and why they get any attention.

This statement of just loud with no consideration
Of tone hmmmm

So what you are saying is i get extreme volume
Of crap tone ?
thats pure win!!!!!!

I Don't know I am not into certain amps but a good big muff etc. can make some of the worst amps have a certain desirable tone.. but to each their own! Its different thing then a JTM45 or something ___She is juggling Elephants
Thanks for the pix Bubba
