Doubling is one of the best moves I ever made to my rig for thickening the tone without drenching it with dumb effects. @japetus is responsible for giving me the opportunity to experiment with it.
Sorry about that Mike but I doubt you'd regret going down the doubler route especially considering your dual amp rig so I'd say pedal-wise it's one of the better investments to actually beefing up your tone beyond OD and EQ. You'll wind up with that monster tone. I'm looking to finalize my big tone by adding a nice reverb, however that winds up working out. Hope you are well today!!!
The Badlander just fricken RIPS!! I have the 50 WATT head and it seems every bit as loud as the 100 WATT dual rec, it also just cuts like a mofo. Super easy to dial in and no need to fiddle with settings.

I wear Vibes ear plugs in my left (partially deaf) ear, and turn my right ear away from the amp when playing at home.
I should've gotten a hearing aid years ago.
We'll all be having New Hearing Aid Day NHAD posts in the not so distant future.
