Used to own one of these and have been kicking myself for selling it. Saw one used for a good price, so I jumped on it.

This is a video I did with my old one in the red channel:

And I think this one is OD1:

I read that the transformers on these have been changed to cheaper ones, so I will be interested in learning whether the newer one I got has lost some of that mojo.

Will post back with the results when I have them.

Being as this is the Classified section, are you buying, selling or trading what you posted?

So you just bought a new JVM410 but the videos are from your old one?

Did you mean to post this in the main forum as a New Amp Day thread?

More importantly though...can it do Montrose - Sammy Hagar - Van Halen - Chickenfoot?

Why don’t I move this?

Oops, thank you. I was browsing the classifieds when I posted.

Actually, can this thread to be deleted? The seller only wants to use normal postage and India Post doesn’t accept packages more than 20kg. No option for expedited shipping either.

This is after they took my money, which hopefully should be returned soon. Apologies.

Hope you get your money back brother

But don't you have to use a Customs Broker to get something like a JVM in and out of India?

@nightlight ouch... hope you get back ya money !! Settle and raise ya issue early... !

I dig my JVM410. Crank the master, and use the presence and resonance. It slays IMO, IDK but it's as open as my 1959HW IME.

I can get so many Marshall sounds from it, it's remarkable IMO.

Yes, that's why I told them I would like to use DHL (European seller). But they were insistent on local post.

I guess it's just as well. I don't want to wait 3 months for an amp to reach me via snail mail and then find it is busted or in poor condition.

Will just have to keep searching.

Hit me up nightlight fr

Hi Professor, I would, but wouldn't your amp be 110V? Won't work out here. I mean, I do have a step down transformer, but would prefer (and have) local voltage for most of my amps, barring my Quad and Rectifier Stereo power amp.

Do you want this deleted? I just saw that on your previous post.

Yeah I saw that the other day Steve, but the thread turned out useful so I'm sure the OP would be happy for it to remain.

Thanks, @JackBootedThug . Managed to score a JVM, so no need to delete it.

And thanks, Nicky @Monkey Man
