Just got my Metallica tix. Who's going?

Nearest show is 41/2 hours away, and I live near Charlotte. I've seen them twice before, guess I'll pass. Will probly see Maiden again though! They always have a great show, and aren't scared to play a lot of new stuff.

Got mine for Houston. Haven't seen them since the Justice tour.

Got mine for Houston and have maiden tickets for dallas and Houston. June is going to be A badass month! Also have the trooper VIP party for maiden Houston

Got my tickets for Denver show. 8 hour road trip, taking my buddy as my gift to him. Looking forward to it. Last time I saw them was in Denver in 2008 death magnetic tour. Looking forward to A7X too, Volbeat, not so much.

The wife and I are planning on getting some. She really wants to see A7X and Volbeat as well. We have to look again. We didn't see anywhere close to DC on first glance.

Baltimore.... Raven's stadium...

Just saw that. Unfortunately it's a weeknight and the wife can't go. We've also been warned not to go there. I have no problem, but she won't go there.

if you mean for safety reasons, it's all good. There's parking and 60,000 other people around and that part of bmore isn't too bad.

Yeah, she's always nervous about this stuff. I actually persuaded her to say fuck it and go. Then we looked into prices.

As mentioned above, that's just too much money. Cheapest reasonable seats we found were just under $200 each with fees (or about $175 all the way up top), plus ~$50 to park. add in other stuff and it's at least $500. That's just too much for us. The new Metallica album isn't that good to justify it. The last Metallica album I liked was the Black Album. I saw them twice that tour for about $25 each time.

We already have Maiden tickets, got better seats, and paid a LOT less.

Rock on for everyone else who makes it to the show, I'm sure it'll be good. Just not $500 good.

Chicago for me. Bought the Whiplash experience in hopes of playing their guitars

Meh. $500 good is relative to the individual. I paid more than that and didn't blink an eye.

I have a feeling this is the last chance, so gotta do it. Hell, they're old enough that one of them could go at any time. They didn't exactly lead the best lives in terms of giving themselves the best chance for longevity.

I'm wondering if they are planning on adding a few shows down the road? I'd like them to get a little closer to my location.

I'm a lifelong Metallica fan and would love to see them again. Just need the stars...and wallet...to align. :)

Would be cool to see them again, latest material is great...not sure how well it will go over live....but not playing a show near here yet :-/

Debating. I've never seen them and while it would've been kick ass to catch the ride the lightning tour or something back in the day, I like the new material and think it would be great to see/hear them live.

I like Avenged Sevenfold too so that makes it even more tempting is just a lot of money for a ticket.
