I got this Agile Interceptor Pro 727 from Guitar Center used for super cheap and decided to try to make it “custom” I filled the neck pickup and shot it with blue and then black crackle. I got a Gotoh trem and Duncan Black Winter soapbar going in after I finish clear. I had to re sand the whole thing because the first crackle looked horrendous, this one came out pretty rad though. First pic is basically what it looks like except mine has a maple board with offset dots (I didn’t take a before pic 🤦‍♂️)

What makes that "Crackle" ? Does it come out of a can like that ? It's pretty bitchen.

That is awesome. I have a body lying around waiting for a finish.. I may have to try this.

Strung up, I’ll post clips tomorrow. I like how it came out a lot, for my first finish. I was a little impatient and I should have done 3 coats of clear but hell yeah
Looks great! Yep, patience is the killer, so hard to wait.

Looks awesome! The crackle came out really well. I've seen a lot of homemade crackle finishes come out really bad. Yours looks pro.

Looks great! I’m waiting for the weather to clear coat a body. It will be months. I would prob have all sorts of fog if I did it now.

And you have a much better setup for spraying. I hang mine from a string loop from the garage door opener. Fan at garage door to pull out fumes. I have a mask tho.

Nice job! Looks killer like others have said! Can't even tell there was a neck pickup route.

It’s a bike stand I got off Amazon for like 30 bucks 😂

I got some meguiars cut and polish but it’s still not high high gloss. It actually looks cool as is but is there any products or methods you guys like to really make it shine?
