Just received a Weber 1230-55......

Bad news The speaker seems to be defective. I tried it in 2 different cabs and it has a very pronounced "buzz" that sustains even beyond the notes/chords.........even at low volume. It is unusable at this point. I just shot Ted an e-mail hoping to get this sorted out.

Is it a new speaker? I had 2 of those. By themselves i thought they sounded good, but next to other speakers and cabs i did notice a harshness to them.

Hmmm. did you have Ted break this one in?

Hope you get it figured out. My latest Weber I bought is taking longer than I expected to break in (12F150)
