if all else fails, go to the Peavey website and download the manual. they had one for my Classic 120 power amp, they should have one for your 60/60!
I downloaded the manual but it doesnt say whether its safe or not to do that. Im sure with the channel volume zero'd it should be fine though..
The tubes that were inside mine were the original Peavey tubes it came with. Its going to need a retube before i gig it!
I spent like an hour taking the amp apart and cleaning all the dust out of it. It was literally caked in dust and dirt inside all over the tube sockets, tubes, PCB, Fan etc. It probably would have caught fire if i had turned it on without cleaning it LOL
