Steve, Did this happen in shipping? I had a seller send me a guitar recently where there was room in the case top to bottom where the guitar was shifting. One good drop with the stock facing down cracked the headstock. Any void must be filled in the case. The seller paid the builder to take care of it and he made me a new neck that was even better than the original. You deserve nothing less on a guitar this valuable. These Yarons cost 10K

That is unbelievable. I almost feel like you should receive a full refund and be able to keep the guitar. Something drastic needs to done in order to make up for this neglect.

I am sure an amicable solution can be reached. He still needs a lesson on how to pack and deliver a guitar. He may make the best 59 Replica in the business, but he can't pack for shit.

Question answered. So sad. Unbelievable, really.

EMS/USPS to the US. Fedex back over to me. However, Tinkerbell couldn't have flown it here without fucking it up. All it took was someone to drop it on the headstock end of the box and it would have snapped. I don't blame the shippers at all.

Holy fucking shit.

You are being beyond cool about it. I would be flipping the fuck out.

I should have asked, who packed it. I rarely blame shipping companies. The only thing I've ever received that wasn't a packer's fault was a MOD50. That thing must have dropped from 50 ft.

Maybe 1959 packing as well?

Thats fuckin brutal...

Inexcusable shipping. What is that guy smoking??

I have been buying online since 1999 and I'd blame the shipper 25-35% of the time, the rest on the shipping company. Shipping companies hire low cost labor to handle packages and many of those people just do not care. I have had forklift blades go though my boxes, how can you pack for that?

Steve, I hope you get the guitar fixed so when you play it, you forget about the damage. Hopefully the builder will step up.

Jesus Christ, I think I'm going to be sick. I need to lie down....

I sent it off today to Greg Platzer for repair. Guess it will look really authentic with a repaired crack. Greg at BCR is supposed to be about the best in the biz. I am not sure how it will all play out but I am sure they will make good in the end in some way. What is so disappointing is the piss poor respect in packing this beautiful and insanely expensive guitar. It was in a Warwick Rockcase, which is pretty much ballistic fucking cardboard and has just enough slop in the inside with very little form fit to allow the guitar to move around. There is no extra room at the end of the headstock. If that is not bad enough, it was shipped in the single ply box the case was shipped in. Not a double XX heavy guitar box, but a shitty little cardboard box for an empty case. There was no filler, no end area foam or protection. He might as well have stuck the case in a big paper sack and taped it up. This, is what has pissed me off so bad now. Hell, I wouldn't send a $200 chinese knock off to any of you guys packed this way. How he hasn't lost guitars before me, I have no clue. But, one 2-3 foot bounce off a floor on the headstock end of the case and it would probably snap it. Hell, I am surprised the neck wasn't broken. I had Fedex look at it and they just laughed. Claim denied and you know what - I don't really blame them. But, not sure which leg it would have gotten fucked up on in the shipping.

Had I known this, I would have sent a fucking case, box and packing material to ship in. There was one bright spot in an otherwise fucked up day - got my new ESP black Snakebyte delivered in one piece, in a proper ESP case, in a proper box with proper fucking packing.

We'll see what they are made of now. I hope it turns out well and it should. But, even a replacement takes a while. The neck can be removed, but then it would all have to be stripped and refinished. Another one can be made in about the same time.

Oh, in that picture, the only the holding the headstock on is the truss rod cover. It won't tune for shit either!!! Bad day......first time I had this happen. But, I can see how it happened and there's nobody to blame but the one who packed it.

Greg is waaaay cool and does amazing repair work!!!!

That is ridiculous. Was this sent like that from the builder or did you buy it second hand?

Dude needs to pay for the repair, all shipping costs associated and give you a partial refund. As much as you invested in a build like this, they should pack them right or ship it in a custom road case.

FUCKIN' PAINFULL

That's a picture i hope never to experience... but then loosing a Friedman BE-100 to an USPS mail man is equally as bad so i feel yer pain bro..

That really sucks for any guitar to show up like that let alone this one. I would want a new neck, Fuck having someone glue it back on...for what this thing is worth.

Damn that sucks. I don't see how this is bad karma from you because you packed my amp and I'm sure everything else you sell extremely well. This is just shit bad luck.
