Got mine today, this thing is awesome to say the very least. I put it to work in my most used scenarios which are country, punk rock and metal and it kicked ass in every way possible. I didn't think the middle switch of the three really had any influence on the tone but the first and third switches did. I was amazed on how crisp the tones were in every way with it. Calling it a TS808 clone is underselling it. Love this pedal as much as the new savage drive and the VFE ice scream.

The middle switch is symmetrical/asymmetrical clipping mod. But it works only with diode lift off (the first switch down position). It makes the sound a little louder and crunchy and I like to set it that way.

My favorite ts808 chip is the tlc2272cp. CMOS/mosfet.

The fact that I could easily pop it into this one was a deciding factor. 12 volts max though.

Second is the ne5532, warm and hifi.

I dont gel with the burr brown chips, way too polite.

Never heard of this, but my Ts-Type pedal is kinda looked after for atleast the time being its staying "stock" (way huge Overrated Special, its a modded Green rhino which is, in its self a modded tubescreamer, so ya..as stock as whatever is inside it) only poked around enough to see that it was still through-hole and chip swap-able in default config.

my other Ts-type pedal, was a Boss sd-1.. now.. i think the only similarity left is the topology and the buffers that i've not dispatched yet (havn't built a stand alone buffer yet) pretty much everything else has been changed

my problem with these type pedals is that I ALWAYS want to get the soldering iron out and change something, usually at minimum change 2 caps so the thing can run at 18v so i'm not clipping the op-amp, or atleast as easily.

I'm liking the OPA2134, most as of late, be tempted to pull the trigger on a few JRC 4580's try them out, there are a few others i'd like to try that don't get mentioned much but i can't remember them, i've got em save in a document somewhere LOL
