I really dig Urban, great guitar player....him and Paisley are the 2 country acts I can definitely stomach if I have to drag "the hammer" out to a country show.

Before my girlfriend got me listening to country (I'm an 80's hair metal sort of guy...), I'd only heard the most commercial stuff from Keith Urban. I started to hear a little more and dug in to the CD's. That dude's got killer tone, chops and writing skills.
Up until a few years ago, the only thing I'd heard from Mayer was his radio cuts, which just didn't interest me. I saw his set from the 2007 Crossroads concert and was more than impressed by his playing. He may be a gigantic douche, but he he can sing, play and write with the best of them.
