I love my power rack. I still have my amps and still love cranking them up but, in a live mix, nobody can tell including me. The ease of use and ability to have so many tones has really opened up the possibilities. It’s all about the profile you use. If you don’t have a great profile, it’s never going to sound great. My first month with my Kemper was rough. Once you get some quality profiles and understand how to use the studio eq, it’s really a gigging guitarists dream come true. As far as the floor model being pricey, my pedalboard had well over $2k on it. I swapped out to a fractal fx8 (which is great) but, after you have a board and expression pedals power supply, you will have the same amount into it. It’s expensive toys but damn they’re fun
