Got me that Fortin module (plus the JMP) to have a comparator for my preamps.
For recording I ordered the Red Seven amp central ( load, attenuator (just 50% or full), line in/out and stereo loop with stereo IRs).
Added some York Audio IRs and made a short clip for a start...
In my opinion the result is very pleasing. Happy I got me these early xmas presents.

Sounds great. I love the RedSeven EVO. Stereo out to the AxeFx for stereo time based effects, amazing product. The Killer Kali is really good too. I have mine going through a KSR PA100, then to the Redseven.

Are you using a power amp at all or always direct to the Redseven?

In case you guys wanna hear in comparison the BE DLX - here's the same backing . . .

Not tried my Randall power amp yet. But surely will do soon, couple of off days ahead

Hey Olaf is there a power amp involved anywhere in the signal chain? I am guessing that Synergy chassis has a built in power amp.

Not at all. Synergy line out into the Red Seven line in. XLRs to Logic.
In the red 7 app one could add a power amp sim, which for me added too much presence, so its off.
The IRs (theres two in stereo) are both 57/121 with sufficient bottom end in my opinion.

So these clips are the preamps output out only to the Red Seven Line in.

After 38sec with the pwr sim on.
Of course it sounds fuller, however in a mix that's not so much the case in my opinion, that's why I just keep it off so for with three modules (also have the JMP)

Those sound great! There is something about the Killer Kali module, particularly the grain of the gain, that reminds me of the ADA Mp1 and the multitude of mods for it. That is a good thing though. Many great albums done with the MP1.
