Awesome tones and playing, Olaf!
After 38sec with the pwr sim on.
Of course it sounds fuller, however in a mix that's not so much the case in my opinion, that's why I just keep it off so for with three modules (also have the JMP)
PleasureDefinitely more punch and fuller with the power amp sim on Olaf, the difference was noticeable. Thanks for taking the time to show us the difference!![]()
I was going to say the same thing. It adds some sparkle and grind that nails the great tones of that era.The BE DLX module sounds really good but man there's some magic in that Kali.
The Kali sounded like it had more clarity to my ears but the BE sounded more like what I'd expect to hear with a Marshall type amp.Of those two clips I prefer the BE. It seems to have a bit more clarity
Sounds really good for these typical 70s crunchy things. Convincing if you are looking for these sounds.Btw, how do you like the JMP module?

I'd say yes.Thanks!
Does it do a good 80s hard rock with a boost pedal?
Thank you.you made the Kali sound really good sir! that’s probably the best sounding clip of that module i’ve heard.
more gain than i typically seek but there is tons of high quality metal tones between this and the uberschall module.
i’m very happy with my be-dlx module for covering the more present side modded marshall sounds and the egnater ie4 ch 4 for fatter warmer fusiony lead tones if i want that.
If you want to cover the widest range from clean to super heavy, JMP/Kali. If you want to cover every nuance of Jose-ish sounds then Kali/BEDLX, IMO.What do you think about getting Kali with JMP or DLX (Syn2)

Like the BE DLX it has a three and four gainstage channel. It can be dialed in like the a JMP, at very low gain settings a bit thinner. How mid-gain does the Kali get?
