You obviously have no idea what Japanese culture is like do you? Ryu (from Blood Stain Child) isn't the best guitarist ever, but I think his band has a cool style. Also, remember that those bands are way more popular in Japan than over here in the US or anywhere else.

Haha eh....its done so many times...the difference is that hes wearing a girl suit...and theyre not nazis. I just dont understand japanese culture at all lol. I just really dont get it. I was watching IMF and this video came on and it was some band with a female drummer, a male/female guitarist (couldnt tell) female bassist, and a male vocalist, who was dressed like a girl...and it was some type of grindcore without screaming...it was just yelling. I really dont get it at all haha

so i price requested the angelus HGS, trans finish @ guitarasylum, 2699 with case, damnit i gotta get a job

The Trans Black (and blue) Angelus HGS models are impossible to find. That model just came out last year and only a handful of them were even made so far. Guitar Asylum charges WAY too much for Caparisons as well. That same model sells for $1800 in Japan.

I've owned 2 Angelus models and they're awesome guitars. Really thick body and neck, really heavy, and a huge tone.

They're not allowed to anymore, but they can still sell used guitars to the US. That's really your only chance of getting one anyways, since they're so hard to find. I'd imagine if you ordered one new there would be at least a 6 month wait on it.

^Doesn't Ishibashi ship to the US? You can get a Horus or a Dellinger for around $1400-$1500 so I hear. But if they're not allowed to that kinda sucks.

GuitarAsylum are definitely taking advantage of supply and demand!

They used to, but they don't anymore. A Horus is about $1300 in Japan and a Dellinger is about $1500.

I'm most likely going Ebay if I end up getting a Caparison this winter.

Vultures tells me that half the caparisons in the US went through you. That true?

I've owned these ones...

Caparison TAT II Frozen Sky
Caparison TAT HSS Red Sunset
Caparison TAT HSS Iceberg
Caparison TAT HH Iceberg (3)
Caparison Dellinger CA
Caparison Apple Horn Aurora
Caparison Horus Iris Violet (owned by Peter Wichers of Soilwork)
Caparison Horus Thunder Cloud
Caparison Horus Custom (owned by Pete Joseph of The Absence)
Caparison Venus
Caparison Angelus PLM-1
Caparison Angelus ACE (signed by ACE)
Caparison Dellinger HGS
Caparison Dellinger SE

I love all of their guitars, but my favorites are the TAT's. I just love how they sound. Caparison pickups are one of my favorite things about them, they sound perfect for what I play. The Dellinger CA I had was amazing as well, that's one I really wish I wouldn't have sold.

Wow! Quite an impressive list!

Peter is on every forum that I am on haha. I love The Absence.

I really hope that after I get the ENGL and Vader cab that I can get a Horus or a Dellinger. I want to wait till after January though when they release the new models. I love those two Purple Horus' on ebay!

I like the Dellinger a bit more than the Horus just because it has a different bridge pickup (PH-R, my favorite pickup) and a bound ebony fretboard. I prefer the finishes on the Horus models though. :D

Iris Violet is an absolutely beautiful finish. It looks even better in person.

Snow Cloud is the best Horus finish Marky ;)

:D

It is gorgeous, no doubt. If they made one with black hardware and a bound ebony board, I'd be all over it.

I'd have to say Black Forest is my favorite production Horus finish, just because it's impossible to find. I've never seen one outside of the website pics. Some of the endorsed artists have killer custom finishes too, like the Evergrey dudes and such.

Very much agreed. Everygrey have sick Caparison's. I love Peter Joseph's custom maple fretboard purple horus! Its so amazing!

If I could ever get a Caparison custom Id get a pale blue sponge finish horus with a maple fretboard and clock inlays....oh man that would own!

Sorry to Hi-Jack the thread, I was thinking about posting some KsE Q's. Anyone know what amps they used on their latest album? The tone on "This Is Absolution", and "Reject Yourself" sounds pretty good. I've heard they use anything from 5150's to H&K to Dual Recto's, anyone know for sure?

I was under the impression that it was a boosted SLO 100.

Here is a thread that solves the SLO 100 question: http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/sneap-produced-albums/262400-killswitch-engage.html

The third post down clears it up for what it's worth.
