No, thanks for asking. His first preamp had the board mounted that way too. Not an issue.

Langner TEQ-1 Final Touch Tube Compressor/EQ 1U rack unit. Very rare and desirable! Offers both instrument and XLR (mic) inputs/outputs, foot switch options to enable or disable the compressor or EQ or you can do so on the unit itself. All tube equalizer/compressor. The TEQ-1 has a 5-way EQ section with selectable mid-bands and a fully adjustable compressor. Balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs enable the T.E.Q.-1 to be used as a mic pre-amp as well as an outboard instrument equalizer.

Don't take the "rare" word too lightly here, I believe there were maybe 6 to 10 total of these units built. Primarily I use these units for recording, DI, and mixing, but they work very well in a sound system or any setup. You can run this through the effects loop on an amp, or a preamp into it before the power amp, etc., and it really blows you away with how much better it'll make any other gear sound.

This is super high quality and rare. This is also great for direct recording (running for a bass) or in a mix or mastering session.
