It's funny how sometimes the simplest things remind me of how cool working with a CNC is. I'm about to resurface my spoilboard and install a grid of t-channels for jigging and hold down instead of using the primitive screw hold down system I've been embracing for so long, so last night I drew up some hold down clamps and basic jigging fixtures and cut them from 5/4 hard Maple.

For some reason, this just really made me smile being able to efficiently design and cut my own hold down tools.

Great job man, but tbh I wouldn't take it outside my home, it just looks too good and I'd be afraid of scratching it or something.

Yeah, some feel that way about these... I'm shipping one today that's going to get used and abused for gigs. I hate the saying but in this case, "it's all good."
