got to say i'm a bit conflicted ... I like the vocals/lyrics, music is cool...but something is missing for me. It just seems to lack something.

Maybe I was expecting a punch in the face, full of fire song but it kind of moves along without grabbing me by the nuts ...still great to hear Viv shredding again so will buy for sure

I dig the second tune.. I think that Viv sounds a bit more like Dio era Viv where his lead licks are concerned and the whole thing has that Dio vibe to be honest. He def cut a bit loose in this one. Is he rehashing? Maybe... but that seems to be the point given the name of the band. Also not sure that RJD would be that proud given that him and Viv had a falling out years before.

Now my gripe... what is with the mixing/production on this one? Drums are way too loud and up front and stick out. Another casualty of today's production and mixing techniques I might say. Stick those back where they belong.

That really sounds good. It has that old vibe but seems very restrained. I'd be really interested in hearing them live as I'd expect Vivian to really cut loose and shred in a live setting. Thanks for posting.

I don't think Viv cuts loose like he use to 30 years ago...

I would love to see Steel Panther live! I have thoroughly enjoyed all of their albums. Their latest one was a little meh but other than that they are a great band with some amazing chops!


Now has a happy Oblivion DC.

JORN destroys!!!! Have all of this stuff and saw him in Oslo in 2013. Check out Beyond Twilight "The Devils Hall of Fame" and Ark "Burn the Sun" as well as his stuff with Masterplan!!
