Les Paul style guitar with Floyd: LP Axcess, ESP Eclipse, or something else?

Definitely looking sub $3k, ideally sub $2k. I don't think there are any current production full thickness LTDs or E-IIs with a Floyd. Were there older ones that had one?

Definitely gonna look into that Hanneman Eclipse, sounds awesome.

I'm also open to Explorer like shapes if I'm more likely to find something closer to the specs I'm looking for there
So yeah in the E-II / ESP SS range, or LTD. The ESPs are going to have consistently much better QC than a LP, but they don't cry like a good LP. (key being good, they're not all!) That said if you're going active PUPs that's definitley more in ESP's wheel house.

This is what you really want ;)

Go here & put in your filter choices. If you don't neeeeeed full thickness, there are a lot of options at all price points.

IME Explorers are harder to find with Floyds, they are out there though.

Here’s my main guitar 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro II with factory Floyd Rose I changed the wiring to 50s wiring changed the pickup to Kolev Custom wound pickups.
Noice.
The flame has a little chevron action going on.
Now you need to double cream up that neck pickup. :p
