Les Paul style with better upper fret access?

I know Gibson has the axcess but I really don't want to spend $3k on one guitar. I love my LP but have tons of trouble with upper fret access. I've looked into building a warmoth, which i know has a contoured heel but it still looks rather large. Anyone have any experience with warmoth lps? Or any suggestions on lp style guitars with better upper fret access?

PRS Single Cuts have a little better access. The Stripped 58's and SC58's are not weight relieved either. They also have a better neck joint contour and a tummy cut.

I had a PRS Singlecut for a while. I loved how it played but didn't really care for its sound.

Great upper fret access, feel, and workmanship on these guitars. You can even choose 24.5" scale or 25" scale, depending on the model.
