I'm cheating but it got to the point where to switch FX I wanted at any given moment on and off, I started to look like Michael Jackson dancing around on stage (late 80's early 90's). This was way before they incorperated any kind of MIDI or loop switchers to pedalboards (with the exception of Bob Bradshaw devices) or had ones that I could actualy afford and were availble to the little guy. So I found out how to program rackmount FX units via MIDI.
My pedalboard is a MIDI foot controller that controls up to 5 FX units and 2 mechanical switches. A couple of Wah pedals that I like and one volume pedal for swells. I can change the channel(s) on my amp or even switch heads and change the patches on all 5 FX units with a single stomp. I call it Paridise . . .
