I only have one, and I am loving it. The playability is amazing, and it sounds great also. So fellas, lets see pics of yours. I know there are a couple HEAVY duty Jackson Soloist collectors/fans on rigtalk, so lets see them!!!

1985 #J0535 kahler and duncans! One owner....me! Had the mirror of her as a Professional student. Same fiddle but no bound neck and dots instead of fins!

My '85 - another white one!

85 Soloist Custom, and then two from 1986:

86 Soloist Custom, then an 87 and an 88, both refinished for me:

Another pair of refinished 1988 Soloists, and then the prototype for the late 90s Shannon run

Finally a pair of recent Custom Selects. The seafoam has a Titanium Floyd on it, and now has a pickup ring which matches the pickup :)

I had a 1985 midnight blue Jackson Soloist Custom like yours, but mine had a Kahler. That guitar was one of the casualties of my drug days. I would love to get one like it someday through with a Floyd. I would probably buy one of these yellow Bengal tiger ones first.

I´ve had about ten all in all, but I only have the two best left now. One burnt cherry SL1 from 2001 and one orange/gold pearl from 1988. Need to get some pics, though, so I´ll be back.

Here's one I got end of last year. Actually going to order another one but with two humbuckers with pickup rings, tone pot, black binding, no killswitch. I am toying with a reverse headstock and dot inlays. Not sure yet.

Nice one RP! I never understood the love of the reverse headstock? PITA to tune, PITA to re-string. Why??

Nice refinish! Did you do the back of the neck too? Must have been a PITA to get right?

Took my time, especially masking off the board and head stock. I paint pretty often, so the experience didn't hurt, also had pretty much all the tools to do it.
