Here's my original San Dimas that I bought in early 1986. I spent 2 hours at GC deciding between this one and a white RR (should have bought both LOL) . Since I just had a Flying V built and my other guitars had Floyds I went with this one. Plus my Grandma was an artist so this guitar is in remembrance of her.

I had a Jackson Fusion USA back in the day and regret selling it. Have never had a USA soloist but have always considered them the top shelf "shred" guitar. Insane prices these days, but would like to find a nice HT. This thread is 🔥

1986 San Dimas
Serial# J2486
I know it’s not the sequence but my birthday is February 4th. So I didn’t realize it for awhile but it’s an ‘86 feb. 4 is 2-4. J2486…crazy huh. She was born in 1986 I hope to have her for ever, I acquired it in 1989, when I was 19, for $700, from a friend who has Jackson fever when they started doing custom paint themes, he’s here in vegas. It’s been topic for debate whether it was built for “kool and the gang” who traded it in for 2 70s strats. But idk for certain. Only 244 made, so very well could have been.
This is the best built guitar I’ve ever played and I’ve got some good ones.
This guitar has probably done 500 gigs. Love it like my first love. No bullshit, lol.
Peace ✌️
Maybe 500 gigs is a bit much haha

1st photo - 1997 SL1 ( which has the best neck I've ever played on a Jackie and it's the one I still have)
2nd - my old 1999 Lightning
3rd - my old 1993 Bikini Beach
4th - my old 1997

That's lush, love the old kahler. I had one on my first aria pro ii, felt great under the hand - comfier than a floyd (and easier to change strings!)
