The Old Testament is the Hebrew Tanakh Bible, but with some of the books broken down in to smaller books, and different translations of the names.

The oldest surviving text we have found religious or otherwise so far is the Kesh Temple Hymn, which are Sumerian clay tablets dating to 2600 BCE. This is end of the 2nd Bronze Age.

I don’t believe in the Garden of Eden or any of that. That’s myth and deeply rooted in ancient psychedelic shamanism which is pretty well echoed across other cultures.
I don’t believe in a monotheistic one God system. The OT clearly references many gods, but that the Israelites must only worship YHWH.

I believe there was a near global flood, and most of what is described by the Younger Dryas Impact Theory which suggests evidence that something fucking brutal happened on this planet for a solid few centuries around 12,000 years ago and those who survived had to start again with basic agriculture and organising society from the ground up.
Who knows what was around before that though.

Modern Christianity is simply a mix of other religions. It’s got some good points and ideas, as well as some completely nutty followers.
