I have recently updated my website and I’m almost to completion with my Scalpel 50 production amp! Good things are coming. Here are two videos I recently had done.

The XD120 Is my flavor, more aggressive I think. I do have one question for you, what happened with the XD100? Or what are the differences between the 100 and 120?

The demo of Frankenhouser with the 100 was to my ears, by far the best sounding amp.

The XD120 is a amp that I was incorporating every feature I could possibly squeeze into it. The first model had quad bias control, series/parallel loop, noise gate, 3 button foot switch, When I realized how much it took to build these I moved onto a more simplified amp design. The XD100 was next. The original amp had a footswitch for the series effects loop and clean channel on back. It had a major renovation to its circuit prior to Jason’s video. I had since shelved the circuit to move onto other design ideas. I am going to revive it soon as a single channel amp model and possibly with a clean channel. I have focused my endeavors into my Scalpel 50 design. Clips will be coming soon!!!!

I was lucky to have picked up one of Mike's amps the scalpel 50. I had just bought a new Marshall, and was loving it till I played through the scalpel 50, OMG so tight, no flutter, incredible bass response, hell it dosnt need any pedals , it's what the 80's players should have been playing even better than all there Jose mods. I love its tone.?

I really want an XD100 with a clean channel (controls in the back) and the front looking like an SLP. They sound amazing. Passive or active loop would work.

It looks like I will be resurrecting the XD100. It is on my list of projects to do. I have a 1981 waiting for a face lift.
