Lickliter Scalpel 50 production model

The Lickliter Scalpel 50 is coming to life. I have the 1st prototype board I’d loaded and I have a chassis for it. This will be the 1st PCB that I have built for my amplifiers. I have been testing the circuit for quite a while in a turret board style amp and the results have promising. The new model will be sporting Mercury Magnetics iron, DC heaters, tube effects loop, and acrylic front panel with LED’s

Here is the preliminary front and rear. On to the final layout of chassis. The final will be anodized aluminum in black with laser etched markings on front and back.

Update on the Scalpel production model. I finally got a chassis builder I can rely on. I have assembled the amp and have a few minor changes to get the design finalized. I am expecting completion soon with finished model. The chassis will be anodized black. The front and back panel will be matte black and the name plate will reflect stainless through the front panel, and tolex in black.

Update on production Scalpel 50. Here is the final prototype panel. The production run will be in anodized aluminum with the stainless backing. I am awaiting for my second sample. This first chassis will be silk screened on powder coat but the production will be anodized aluminum with silk screen
