It's weird that you couldn't just address the unlikely story the government fed us on bin laden choosing instead to take a cheap shot at my beliefs. Out of character per our past interactions. Seems like OT is on a downhill slide lately.....
A bad joke that landed wrong. Apologies. I thought we might both laugh. My bad.

For someone who thinks they're so smart, you sure do say some stupid shit.
There is a difference between "I am not a liar", and "I have never ever told a lie in my life".
Guess which one I said, and guess which one YOU said.

No hoisting, no petard, no coup de grace. Your intellectual fantasy is a mirage.

I'm not a liar.
Choose not to believe me?
Cool, IDGAF.
Words have meanings. "I am not Nigerian". Guess what? It also means I have never been Nigerian.

Let's even say you are right (you're not). You're telling me "I'm not presently a liar" which means you used to be a liar. So why wouldn't you be lying now?
I still don't believe you were totally unemotional about Bin Laden. You weren't telling the truth. Ergo ....

Semantics much?

Robo has decided he doesn't like me and wants to argue with every post I make. With terribly weak (read: fucking stupid) arguments. I enjoy replying.
Welcome to the world of antagonistic hypocritical clueless assholes on OTC.

There's a small posse of them as you've experienced. Being civil, impartial and reasonable with them is a total waste of time.

Simply and civilly described...they're mean spirited individuals and there's no reaching them.

My friendly advice is to give them a miss...you'll feel better for it.

Welcome to clown fantasy land. Where internet twatbags like this one lash out with grade school insults the minute someone opposes him (her? :dunno:) and is a consummate professional at playing the victim game.

If that's your prerogative I guess. Though it's kinda lame to play the semantics game when you know what he's saying.
The whole thing revolves around his claim that he was unemotional when he heard Bin Laden was dead. I don't believe that for a second. The only reason he said that was to argue with me. So, f--- it, I'll call him out. I was a bit petty with my reply but imho he deserved it with his bald faced lie.

I don't think this forum is for you :dunno:

My friendly advice would be to just let this go. I mean, who cares? :dunno:

I don't remember having a lot of emotion when Bin Laden was killed either. More like good riddance and lets move on.

What kind of emotion are you sure he exhibited when that happened?

Same for me. There were no parties, high fives or cartwheels. It just was.
Same for me as well. I remember thinking good that a terrorist was out of commission, but there was no emotional expression or jumping for joy. It was more like information received; moving on now.

@JamesTiberiusKirk That's 4 people who say they were emotionally detached from hearing about Bin Ladin's death. People can understand the events and acknowledge how it's a good/bad thing, and not have an emotional attachment to it.
