I'll disagree with you on this one.
Technically the sky isn't actually blue, but appears blue because of the way sunlight scatters. It's also why the sky appears orange-ish at dawn and dusk. To take it a step further the sun is actually white, not yellow as it emits all colors of the spectrum. It only appears yellow to us because of the way the atmosphere scatters the light.
