Little les paul help needed

Edwards / Navigator also an option...? I grabbed one from guy in JP years ago...killer guitar, had a best of a 50s neck though..and I just couldn't play it.

Navigator is the higher end of Edwards, I've seen some that are quite pricey....supposed to be awesome though.

Yeah thanks for the advice guys.

Wanted a Ace Frehley burst triple pickup. But cant touch them at all for under a grand by Gibson.
Just seen the older Japanese models were making them and they look great.
Still close to a grand though.

Good luck on your quest sir. There is a lot of good info on here so far. The advice I want to offer is please try out a 3 pickup Les Paul before you buy if you can. I wanted one for a long time. I got the chance to borrow one for a gig one time. It didn't make it past the second song before I had to swap it out. That middle pickup will (not might, will ) get in the way of your picking. You might be able to alter your technique to make it work, but there is no way in hell I could
