Personally, I think it kicks major ass! Couple of my favorites...

Kicks major ass! New bass player jams! Love the bass lines he puts down to those riffs. On a huge thrash kick right now.

I just saw the new video for first single. If the rest of the album is good I'll look more into it? The guys themselves in the band are really nice. They've played at the club I work a couple times. Engaging to talk gear with and nice guys.

Didn't know they changed bass players. Great rhythm section for sure. God what I would give to have their drummer.

Great cd. Spin it every night I am in the truck, along with the new Kreator. Better than unnatural selection IMO. Hang 'em high still my favorite track. Great band to see live. Watching them evolve since time is up(still in constant rotation) has been a pleasure. Ah,to be young again.....

The second track is killer. I'll have to grab this one.

I played a couple of shows with them a few years back, great guys. While I loved the first two albums, the last two are very "meh" to me.

I kind of agree on this. Too much bass playing on the new record. I prefer their straight old thrash sound.

I love all Havok (Time is Up my favorite by far). Great band and they DESTROY live. I'm not at all a fan of the guitar tone on the new one though. IMO it's too polite. It's too clean and lacks the grind that it had on they're last two albums. It's also much lower in the mix than the last couple albums. Still a very strong album, just really prefer the production of the last two.

Sounds good. I saw them years ago on the Times UP album tour. Had never heard them before and they destroyed the place. So tight and nasty. and they were all young cats. I was blown away.

I recently picked this one up. Haven't listened to it yet. :aww: This thread mas convinced me to give it a spin.

My band opened up for them once. Nice dudes as I recall.

Times Up and the Point of No Return EP crushes!!!

The best band in thrash metal today. They are also very nice guys. I took an on tour lesson from Reese when they came through town. Dude is completely amazing.

Anyone able to tell us what gear they use?

Google.....

From what I gather, they have a lot of Peavey gear. Reese is also an old shreddy guitar junky, we chatted about his love for Charvel and all the old 80s shred machine guitars.

I've checked out their previous albums numerous times, but something about their sound always stopped me from buying. Not that they're bad; they're actually wicked fucking thrash talents. I see they're touring with Warbringer.....These guys fucking kill

Edit:

Man this song smokes!!

Still not a huge fan of the singers vocal style but the riffs are pretty sick. Gonna have to revisit their stuff me thinks.

I just saw them live, they were both using Peavey XXX II half stacks and they're tone was absolutely crushing. So much that I bought a XXX II immediately after. Clean boosted with my OD-9 it's a killing machine.
