Good work!
I had a conversation about this the other day...we were discussing how younger players don't know/have the chance to play a big, loud tube amp at volume. The closest many get is to plug into a tube amp at GC or local music store at low volume not knowing how it works / or how to get the best sounds from it...which probably does even more damage by giving them a bad or underwhelming experience with a tube amp.
It's not going to change unless younger players have the opportunity to experience it. I know a few local musicians here, but not enough or who would be open to this; but having a free amp room session on a Saturday afternoon and inviting younger guitarists to bring their guitar and try a few 100W 50W tube half stack / full stacks with someone guiding them would be a worthwhile experience for them. Maybe pitch it to a local music store pr local GC,...
Coming from tube amps and rack gear, I had the opposite problem, like many others, when using digital modelers. A completely different user experience and result. Even if it sounded good, it was like plating with your senses dulled. I had to adjust my expectations and how I play, and what i hear - modelers and FRFR are the full signal chain like a recorded / FOH tone vs amp in the room.
