Is the cab loaded with the standard 2-GB's/2-V30's Mark? :)

The new Friedman Cab looks classy in Black. Why didn't he mic that one?

Also what settings did he end up liking?

I just arrived with that cab and 1 head. Takumi already had the Marshall and one BE100 setup.

Mark

All V30's

I'll bet that Sambora watched the Phil X Friedman BE demo video and immediately ordered one... :D

Sweeet! :inlove:
My buddy Takumi is guitar teching for RS right now.
I'm sure he's digging those!

Yeah, this reminds me, I need to give Takumi a call next week.

I'll ask him about these amps as well.

Already on his way to Australia to rejoin Nickleback tour. Poor bastard!

Is Richie still using multiple Silent Sister's for his sound on stage?

what was wrong with the herbert if i may ask?

i get that you get used to one thing, and stuck in your ways...but...wow....talk about an upgrade then a downgrade..

I wouldn't have spent one second talking guitar with Richie Sambora. It would have been all about Denise Richards

And Heather Locklear!!!

"Hey Richie......Tone is all in the fingers, right?.........So can I smell yours ? "  :D

That's not right, just not!!! lol :D

That lucky bastard. I can't believe he got to meet Mark Day before I did. :)

I met Mark Day once and he blew me up with a missile at the end of the 2012 NAMM show!!!

And he rolled a car over onto to me as well and all in the same day :gethim:

I have video footage to prove it!!!!

That's nice. He'll be using a couple of 65 Amps heads tomorrow, and Category 5 the day after that.

So what? He's a mad multi millionaire that exist's on a different level than us mere mortals. He'll play them for a few months and then put then in a warehouse somewhere to die along with the rest of his massive collection.

There are many people here at Rig Talk who go thru gear just as fast, and they don't have even the smallest ounce of credibility in the business that Richie has. I think he's entitled, as is anyone.

I'd like to see that video

Not if you like DSLs. After a certain point it's just "different" not necessarily better. Clearly he could've kept using Herberts if he actually wanted to...

At one point before the Deizels, he was running Divided by 13's also...

i just find it surprising that the herbert wasn't more up his alley as far as gain and tone structure....weird.

His "sig" tone on all their hit records has been some sort of Marshall surely, it's not very surprising to me at all that a Herbert wouldn't provide that as well as a Marshall, honestly.

There's a live video of a show where he is using the Herbert and as much of a Diezel fan I am it didnt cut through the dense mix BJovi has like a more marshally amp would. it was pretty noticable to me. I'll try to find what show it was but it is out on video I believe, fairly recent (last 5 years).
