It's so hit/miss. One block has power, next block over is looking at 9/18 or more. Some yards look good, some like a tornado hit. It's the weirdest, wildest storm I've seen it 25 years in Florida. The Keys are pretty much leveled. We're just now getting power where I live east of here. Cable/internet/Wi-Fi, another story. I'm in the country, old-school electric poles, ain't nothing underground out here. And internet is Comcast. Don't have a choice, no other providers, and their service sucks. Could be Christmas with those fucks.

Good luck to you guys down there. After Sandy the houses behind me had no power for almost 3 weeks and the house to my left had a 50 foot tall tree smash into it and I never lost power, go figure.

Would anyone be down if we tried to do a GoFundMe or anything to help? I know it isn't anything crazy to most, but maybe we could get some gear back for our fellow musicians at minimum.

Yeah, there's some that won't have power for weeks. Just a block away at an Elementary School, there's been 10-12 utility trucks there, working feverishly. 2 are Tampa Electric, the rest are from Nebraska!

When I finally went home, the highways were literally caravans of utility trucks from all over the country.

All anybody really cares about around here, is buying a Friedman, adding a second Friedman, modding their Friedman, new Friedman amps released and having the greatest Friedman on the boards. I, personally, didn't lose any gear. Lost some stuff in storage, but didn't really have a pot to piss in before all this. But, I'd be more than down to do what I could to help those worse off.

Hope things are ok man. I know what power loss is like, it really sucks.

In 2009 I was out of power for over a week for a wind storm and then 2 months later we had a major ice storm, which resulted in another week and a half of no power. If your power loss is only a week after Irma, consider that a positive. There are many in the Caribbean that won't have power or anything at all for months upon months.

I'm in Ft. Lauderdale, also.
Lost power for 2 days, but, I have generators, so, actually didn't lose power. I was actually playing my ax during the storm.
I did a ton of preparation before the storm. Didnt lose anything.
Feel bad for people that did, though.

Really, that's your response?
