Hell yeah I love these 5150 love threads.

My 5150 has knocked my Mark III out of the starting line up. Love it.


Mine seems to eat preamp tubes though. seems like every month or 2 the amp starts loosing umph. Replace some preamp tubes and its back in business. But oh well. Its a kick ass amp

Not even about the BROOTZ!! It does CLASSIC ROCK VERY VERY GOOD!!
I was throwing down some AC/DC with EASE!!

Hells Yess!!! I got into this amp when i was in College. Then sold it and got a Peavey Ultra PLus, which was a good amp but not as thick sounding as the 5150.

Luckily, last year i scored a used 5150 block letters halfstack for less than US500!
Still smokes but yeah, even mine can be moody and i think i need to replace tubes as well.

Yeah, I've played all three and they're winners for sure. I ended up trading mine for a mark iii though, which is also an awesome amp in my opinion.

Yeah, I love my mark iii, I've never played the mark iv but I'd like to try one some time. I've gone through several amps since getting the mark, but I can never bring myself to sell that amp.

I liked the 5150 I had a lot, but I liked my Blackmore better. Could dial in similar tines, but I liked the Blackmore better overall.

5150 is hard to beat for the price though.....
