I have always liked Lynch's tone but he needs to start wearing a shirt. He looks like Iggy Pop after an all-you-can-eat buffet.

I would never criticize him for his physique. He's an old man. Doesn't look bad. However, he should wear a t-shirt. No one wants to see that.

Never heard that tune before (the OP)...if you just start it, minimize the window and listen, it's actually really tasty playing! His phrasing sounds better here than I've heard from all the other clips in recent years, and lots of it even sounds like pure improv...pretty cool from a guy well beyond his famed peak days.

For his age, he isn't doing too bad in the body department. I feel like I am starting to look like that and I am "only" 40! Part of me also thinks fuck it, its rock n roll and it is his right. The other half of me agrees with you guys.

Playing wise, I kind of dug the feel here but as always, modern lynch is sort of all over the place. Like he just decides to solo in a diff key and fucks around till he finds the right mode/position again. He's still worth watching on the chance that you get a lights out rip it up day though!

Good for George! The man just loves playing guitar and that is quite evident... I met the guy at a clinic in the early 2000's and he was actually a pretty nice guy that didn't mind answering questions about what gear he used during his Dokken days. I heard he was always hit and miss regarding his mood but he was nice the night of the clinic.

Say what you will... the dude can still cut heads at 63, I doubt my hands will allow me the same courtesy, he goes out there and plays what is in his head, not always perfect but from the heart. He a working musician and done pretty well.

There's some vids up on YT of him playing a LP sunburst, sounded pretty good too.

You know what though, the guy is really really old. I think he's at least as old as Iggy. But yeah, there comes a time to put on a shirt. Just letting some people know, George's career started like in the late 60's or something.
