Madison amps tits up

FWIW. I played a Divinity once and thought it was a pretty cool amp.

I heard one live once and thought it sounded great FWIW. I saw Madball a few years ago. Mitts was using Madison cabs and he had monstrous tone!

I never owned one, can't vouch for the quality. Does anyone have pics of the guts? Just curious. These claims remind me of a Vader 4X12 I owned. When I removed the back to find this.

I not gonna badmouth the guy, like I said, I know really nothing about the company/amps other than It was fairly local. I will badmouth the Vader shit wire job though Just sucks that another American co. has gone under. Would not wish it on someone unless they really had it coming. Maybe he did, maybe he did'nt. You mean like everyother amp out there is a copy of something else? How practically every amp out there is a copy of a Bassman, 5150 is a SLO. Seems a though everyone is just puting there little twist on circuits that have been around for 50 yrs. No one is really reinventing the wheel here.

This comes up every time copying is brought up, just look up a few Behringer/Bugera threads and you will see what I mean. I am tired of discussing cloning/copies. If you want to go into that further, PM me, otherwise please move on.

Back to the Madison issue, as I remember the issue was not so much that it was a copy of the TSL100, but that it was a poorly made copy of the TSL100 and had issues. What was interesting is that for a while the Divinity had a great rep for its tone, but at the same time the TSL100 got slagged left and right

That old Madison/duct tape/China/PRMike thing back on HCAF a few years ago was crazy. I owned a Divinity and I really liked how it sounded. I bet they'll be super cheap if you can find one on eBay or something now. I honestly thought it sounded better than a lot of other high end metal amps I've tried/owned.
