So I used my new Einstein live for the first time last night at the Tuesday Night house gig my band does and all I can say is Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............

I spent the last week dialing the amp in with my other gear and it sounds truly incredible! If fact, my stage sound was unbelievable at the gig and I had numerous guitarist friends come up to me foaming at the mouth due to the brand name alone!

Here's the bad part: :gethim: :gethim: :gethim:

The club manager who is also the supposed 'sound tech' is a horn player that hate's guitars and guitars in the mix. I had numerous people come up to me yet again and tell me, "Man your rig sounds killer, but the bass & drums are drowning it out. You should turn it up!" Now I could write a dissertation here on my experiences and thoughts on FOH guys over the last few decades, but I won't bore you with that rant! It would literally take up a whole lot of hard drive space with just the profanities! ;)

Anyway, let me just say that the Einstein passed with more than flying colors, and I am happy as hell after my first outing with it. As far as the FOH issue, next week I'm half tempted to take another piece of fine European enginering with me to convince the manager that a "Diezel" was built to be heard in the mix! A little product I own that goes by the name of: "GLOCK" :D

Thanks again Peter for developing such a fine line of gear for us "Bar Stars" sluggin' it out in the trenches!

peace,

P.S. If my spelling sucks, blame it on the pints!

A Glock is made in Austria, isn t it?

Cheers Otto

You're Right! My Bad. I thought Austria was part of Germany. My geography isn't so good! Correction noted, Thanks!
