Making FR more like a HT but still able to use

I’m having such a hard time adjusting to playing with Floyd rose. I’m missing some attack and low end. Like I’m having with hard tail guitars.

How do I get some of that back??? I still want to use the FR from time to time.

I know Kirk uses a tremsetter. Could that be the answer??

I do this on ALL my FR guitars. I don’t notice a big difference in attack and low end vs. my hardtail.

step 1 - throw the floyd rose guitar in the trash
step 2 - pick up a guitar with a grown up bridge
step 3 - play guitar as normal, freely

If you want to be able to pull up, you'll need a tremsetter. You can get one from Amazon. If you want to just do divebombs, you can block it from pulling up - also with a device you can find on Amazon. If you want it to flutter, you'll need a way to go back and forth between a locked and unlocked state, so you'll want something like a tremolno, but you really need to make sure to never touch the bar when it's locked.

If all of those methods are tedious, then just crank the gain and nobody will tell what guitar you're using anyway
