It seemed like at least once a week someone would put up a backing track and loads of people would post their takes, Back then, you had the Likes of Scott Jones, Alex Flouros, Myron stratis, Anton in addition to guys like Ed, Bob etc etc etc. It was so cool to hear everyones take and see what they brought to the table...

I would love to see that have a resurgence here. Of course, Im still recording challenged( hell Ive barely played in well over a year ) But I suppose I can get one of those Zoom thingies If I could manage to find the time LOL!!!!

Same here man... It was a lot of fun. No reason we can't start doing it again. :)

I hope so. I used to lurk and just listen back around 2000 to 2001. I would love to participate.

Introduce voting into the system and maybe throw in a prize, and you've got the beginning of a great idea, bro.

I don't think that's a good idea. It's all about having fun with it. No prizes needed.

Or, get this, don't.

Do it for fun and comraderie...music isn't a competition. Count me in.

I know that we arent lacking in participants but It was an awesome thing that just kind of faded away. I have over 7GB's of backing tracks that we could go berserk on....

I'm in on this, if someone throws out a backingtrack. As long as it's just for fun, that is.

My thoughts exactly!
To put a smile on your face! :D

I really dug those jams too. Funny, I'd get the backing track and by the time I was able to come of with something and get it recorded everyone else was off on to the next jam... I'm just that slow.  Still, I had fun putting something together and would welcome it again. :D

Does a bigger loser than this Carl douchebag exist in the world of guitar playing? I think not.
A psyciatrists wet dream no doubt :jerkit:

It was great fun, and everyone would chime in with the STRONG point of each other's playing after the final results were posted!

Lots of great playing was laid down, and it was fun hearing other guy's styles. I believe I remember that I compared us in "obvious influences" a couple of times :)

Yeah Wiz made another run at me over there out of the blue.

Funny I don't even post in HCAF that often anymore, and got dragged into
it by his obsession with RT/Digijams and older people lol.

Trash talks RT/demographics any chance he gets then slinks into the classifieds
section to sell his amps that aren't trendy to own anymore.

Sorry Kage for thread drift...
