No I rooked everywhere.

Am not kidding about them Canadian's being tight-lipped about Zed...sigh. I start asking around about ZED and the next thing I know, am denied my Work Visa.

Wow....that is just smooth top end and really hot!

Nicely done and great playing as per usual!

How did you get that tone from those mics! What am I missing because my sm57 doesn't give me that.. I was thinking of going for a 421 but maybe I should consider the pairing you just showcased.

Totally off topic i know.. leave it to another Canadian to derail the train off the tracks ;) Amp sounds bitchin.

That sounds amazing Mark! I remember the Egnater amp that you made a few years back too.

A lot of the modded Marshalls sound a bit fizzy to me, or that they're trying too much to be like a wall of Mesa/Boogie MarkIII amps or something. Yours has a rawness & gutsy nature that I really like.

Hehe your accent reminds me of Alex Lifeson! Especially when you say the word "passive". ;)
Speaking of which, could you please do a video of Tom Sawyer or another Rush song with the Egnater amp and some effects? I'd love to here that. Thanks mate.

I do not have an accent..lol.
Thanks Pete!!

I lived in Toronto for almost 9 years, Aurora to be exact, just up the road from Alex. when I returned to the States in 98, I had to un-learn my Canadian-esq accent, and choose to do so through a 12-step program that was advertised in the Star and ran by a militant group of de-frocked nuns at a secluded convent located just behind Studio 4 in Windsor, Studio 4's parking lot was always filled to capacity, but I don't think there was a lot of actual "recording" going on in there.

Anyway, sometimes, especially when am very tired, you might find that I still round out my A-B-C's by saying X-Y-ZED. What the hell is a "ZED" anyway? No one would tell me when I lived there. Mark?

All I know is the Yanks wouldn't give me a Visa because I said ZED. Next time I will say ZEE and no EHs?

Don't worry mate, I'm Australian. I pronounce the letter Z as "Zed", although it would sound odd if I said I was at a ZedZed Top gig last night!

Fantastic tone, that amp sounds killer.

The very first clip of yours I ever saw was the one you did when you first got this amp home:

All the young guys I worked with were saving up to buy a Zed-28?

Mark

have you tried to defect through Sault Ste Marie to request political asylum? they're typically more conditioned to hearing "Zeds, Ehh's and ahboot (about)" in da UP, ennit?

Mark, killer stuff for sure. Anyway you have time to do a breakdown lesson of Gary Moore's Run for Cover solo you did? Now that would be cool.
