Having played a Meathead, I can truly say, that amp does it all...and can even do midi.

tbh, and not to be offensive to anyone at all, but now we are recommending a $5,000 amplifier :scared:

Not the first amp mentioned that is over the $4000 mark :)

I could sell my amps and grab a Meathead and probably be very happy, there are people that the Meathead would be their perfect solution as would the Herbert.

The Fortin Meathead will be the only and last amp you will ever need, Stephen. It does everything - not like other high gain switchers that do "everything ok".

This thing excells in ALL categories. Vintage tones... Clean - Mid gain, TIGHT HEAVY tones that will seem to be heard before you hit the strings! Very fast and tight attack.
Or set it up to be any way you wish... it's endless.
There is no guitar tone you can't achieve (and do it incredibly WELL) with this monster.

It's the bomb. And Mike will support you like nobody's business!
He lives 20 minutes from me.

I want one amp that does everything well .... and I do mean everything.

I do not do a lot of high gain stuff ..... but do find myself there from time to time. I spend most my time in the Plexi or a bit hotter range.

A friedman kitchen-sink modded amp(and/or "Marsha") fits perfectly with what you mentioned...as long as your dont need DEATH METAL levels of "gain" :scared: :D

Well thank you everyone ...... at this time 3 are tied at 26 %. I figure the Marsha got less because so few have seen one. Just goes to show we all have our taste. Each of the amps have there own advantages.

...... and I am right where I started ...... I am going to wait for the Natas to come out and take the time to check out all of the amps first hand before I do anything.

I am sure I well want one of each.

According to Mike, the Natas is going to live squarely in the metal realm. I am sure it is capable of approximating some plexi-ish tones but is definitely not designed for that application.

If I go the Fortin route .... Bones and Natas or Meathead
