Now you come up with the plan, nice timing there Bob. I am going to an Army Surplus store to buy anti Ralph and Kage devices for next year.

Oh yeah.......dropped your cd off to 88.1 yesterday afternoon. Local college station. Here from Michael Wagner yet??

There is no device that can protect against what we experienced from Ralph this year.

Very cool, thanks for doing that! Michael hasn't called yet, but I have high hopes.

That's a cool feature. If you're on say the green mode of channel 2.....you switch to another channel, when you come back to ch 2, it remembers what mode you were in.

Absolutely! The cool thing is that each channel has 3 modes and you can set them via midi.

On another note The clean channel is capable of getting some killer gain just by going to the red channel. I don't know who marshall got to design the thing but they done good !!!

I'd really like to get one of these, but other things are calling my name right now, like a 7 string. :x

If I can pay in a month I'll do it, screw it :D

If that's too long I'll have to suffer and get one later this year :x :?

I just wanna know who and how you pay.
How is it gonna work?

I will be collecting the money and paying directly to the supplier. You can use cash or CC. And yes...everyone gets a receipt. I can do paypal, but I am trying to avoid the fees associated with it, so that 3% would be on the buyer.
I'm simply looking to save everyone a few bucks on a nice amp.
They are all going to be coming directly from Marshall/Korg in Melville NY.
Once I get all the seats filled, we will go over all payments and options etc....

If you pay when the amp comes in, I'm down with one

I don't know if I can do that, I'll have to check. My friend is doing me a big favor selling way below MAP, and I can't ask him to lay out any money.
If I can lay it out I will just to complete the order. I can always sell one on Ebay if I get stuck with one...

Tell me about the Vintage Modern!!!!!!!

The VM sounds like a Marshall but only a lot mellower on the top end due to the kt-66 tube. It is very round and warm sounding. The use of the modern name could be misleading. The modern name is used more for some of the modern features used in the amp and should not be confused with modern GAIN. This is not a high gain amp IMHO and it would need a pedal to do high gain but this isnt your normal marshall either.. You can definetly heat this amp up with the boost feature and it has way more gain out of the gate then a plexi for sure. The modern features are the body and detail knobs. IIRC they change the preamps freeequencies on the lows(body) and highs (detail) It does not add gain but rather shapes the tone by messing around with the highs and lows. Another winning amp for sure!!
