Anyone using a JVM?
Just picked up a JVM 215C , but haven;t had too much time with it yet.

Just wondering how you like yours.
Seems very versatile.

Thanks

I had one few years ago. I just didn't bond with it. The tone had an odd lower-mid resonance to it that I couldn't dial out, even with different tubes, speakers, or an external speaker cab. My DSL sound more like classic Marshall to me.

I modded my 410h to hell and back before I sold it. Great amps. I have nothing negative to say about them. For the price, you really can't beat them. Very versatile, reliable, and the tones are very good. One of the better products Marshall has put out as of late.

I agree. To me they have a "modern" tone that can't be dialed out.

Had the 210. A compressed, gainy Marshall. It's a good amp. I remember having issues with the loop levels and I sold it. Have a DSL now, JCM 2000 head, that I like a lot. It can compress a bit but sounds more like a classic Marshall. I may have a choke added to it after the caps are changed.

Selling a 210 that I got in a trade a few weeks ago. Very versatile amp, and partly why I'm selling it. It's just got a lot of switching options and settings and a four button footswitch to program etc. too much for me. I really hate footswitches and the throw me off live. I'd rather control everything form the guitar. Having said that... I practiced with it next to my other guitarists jcm800 2204,and got the od2 orange dialed in so close it was hard to tell them apart. Although we were boosting the 2204, and the Jvm sounded boosted with the channel gain at 10:00. Crazy amount of gain, and like others have said, it reminds me of more of a modern metal amp.
