Thx for.your comment dude! I appreciate your feedback!

Your Theta sounds really good. I have been impressed with the theta so far in alot of clips. Do you think it could cop classic Dime Randall RG100ES tone?

Thx a lot dude! To be honest I have yet to test it in front of my mark or in the loop because I ve been having so much fun just using it as a preamp straight into my torpedo CAB! I'll be posting some clips from the studio maybe this Sunday. I know it's a bold statement but I am sure it kicks all solid states' asses! It would sure do the old Randall tones in spades! More clips to come soon!

I just checked out some more Theta clips and I think I'm going to have to try one. A guy was running a Para EQ into the front end of the theta and was getting a great Stryper tone. I occasionally like to jam some Pantera and I think the Theta with a Parametric EQ up front would do the trick plus it has the decimator noise gate ala Dime. I just think the Theta has some great features to run into a poweramp or into the input of a clean channel amp or into the torpedo like you have done as well as a great tone.

This is exactly what I did to scoop the mids and boost some of the high freqs to get the old tallica tone in my last clip! This preamp is a freaking beast!

Does that early metallica tone pretty well.
