Great job Olaf. I like the clean tone. What's it similar to?

I need to have a chat with you sometime about midi implementation (as I've seen in your other amp). I've been looking into it, and can get the 'hardware' portion figured out, but when it comes to the code I hit a brick wall.

Thanks Eric.

The clean comes off a Bogner Shiva, tweaked here and there, but you get the idea by looking at the Shiva/almost Fender stuff. I'm using a 330pF treble cap though.

With midi I am lucky that Peter (Diezel) allows me to use his stuff.

Thanks Tom. The chassis was shipped this way and not an order by me, I don't need individual presence pots, so I've just installed a master presence on the back along with the depth and master. If there would have been more room inside I would have installed the switchable presence though, but its too slim, you know . . .

Looks great, will it make an appearance on Saturday? Seriously looking forward to seeing you!

Hi Yoeri,

I will try to bring three amps: Joe, this and the new with midi and such.

Yeah, will be fun to put it up against the booteek stuff :D

Hahahaha, bring it on!!! :gethim:

Hhhhoooollly SHIT that looks like a lot of work!

I thought about doing a Plexi build, just straight off of the schematic. By the time I had my parts list finished, I was like "screw this." "This is going to be a lot of hard work!"

Props to you though. That does look badass.

Thanks very much guys. :)

Yeah, PTP is a shitload of work, thats why I prefer PCB now - I'm lazy and old - haha :D

Very neat!

One question though: why not use a toroidal transformer for the power section? They're much lighter and objectively better.
Dang, only 11 posts and you're already recommending to the master how to build his amps?

Nice work Olaf, as usual.
